Admission Process

Admission for a child at VMI

For admitting a child in the school, parents are required to fill an application form and submit in the office. Both the parents are then invited to a counselling session by the academic director on a scheduled day. The counselling sessions aims to enlighten the parents about the Montessori philosophy and the practices followed in the school.

After the counselling session, parents can take a decision about joining their child. Parent should pay the required fee to admit/ reserve ( depending up on the age) a place in the environment for their child.

  • The director assesses the child’s suitability based on parents’ intention to complete three year cycles to achieve desired outcomes in the child.
Elementary Admission:
  • Each new elementary student (between age of 6 to 9) must undergo an assessment to determine their needs and whether or not our school would be a good fit for them.
  • Assessments will be scheduled by the Academic director. Your child may spend some time with the teacher, and often visit for one or two days. This allows them an opportunity to meet us and feel comfortable in our environment. We believe that this helps provide confidence for a smooth transition.
  • We do need a copy of previous report cards and any test results that you may have received. This gives us a sense of whether our school can meet your child’s needs.

The greatness of the human personality begins at the hour of birth. From this almost mystic affirmation there comes what may seem a strange conclusion: that education must start from birth. And so that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being
